MELODYE R. DEMASTUS Founder and President Ms. Demastus founded Melrose Consulting after 15 years in the corporate finance field. She began her finance career at Bank One Trust Company in Columbus, Ohio where she ended her tenure as Assistant Portfolio Manager. In this role she handled client relationships and financial reporting for a number of large pension and profit sharing clients managed by the trust investment group.
She then joined Midland Mutual Insurance Company where she managed both short term and bond investments for the company’s investment portfolio from 1983 until mid-1986. In 1986, she joined Accel International Corporation, a publicly held specialty insurance carrier, as Assistant Treasurer, responsible for the company’s cash and treasury management activities, as well as investor relations. She was promoted to Vice President and Treasurer in 1991, a position she held until founding Melrose Consulting in 1994. Ms. Demastus offers Melrose Consulting clients a broad range of experience, including:
· 16 years direct experience as an investor relations practitioner and consultant; · Direct hands-on experience as a money manager; · Experience negotiating and procuring financial contracts and services; · Strong financial analytical skills, able to work with and understand investment and financial concepts;
Ms. Demastus graduated from Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Finance. She is a member of the National Investor Relations Institute and a volunteer with the United Methodist Childrens Home, foster parenting troubled teenagers.
AUDREY L. CAMPBELL Vice President, Business Development Director Media Relations & Executive Speaker Placements Ms. Campbell has over 20 years experience in national business/financial media relations. Prior to becoming a PR consultant, Audrey spent several years with Convergys, ending her tenure as National Media Relations Specialist and Manager of Executive Communications. Prior to that she spent 15 years with Business Wire, the international media relations wire service, as a media relations representative, where she was directly responsible for maintaining relationships with major media in the Northeast and Midwest and produced award winning “Meet the Media” breakfast and conference series. Ms. Campbell also spent numerous years in radio broadcasting, working at stations WJW-AM, (News/Talk) as a radio advertising traffic director, and WJMO-AM Radio, Cleveland as a talk show hostess. A native of Ohio, Ms. Campbell grew up in Cleveland and earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Journalism at OhioUniversity, and her MBA in International Management from Baldwin-WallaceCollege, Berea, Ohio.Ms. Campbell is an active member of PRSA, IABC, and the National Black MBA Association, and National Black Public Relations Society. She currently resides in Cincinnati.
DEBORAH WELCH Vice President, Business Development Ms. Welch has 15-year proven track record in medical/pharmaceutical sales, technical consulting services, and enterprise software solutions. Former Director of Sales and Marketing for a start-up technology group specializing in full service graphic design and software integration to the Internet. Experienced project manager directing multi-disciplinary teams that provided full service software solutions for fortune 500 clients.
At Melrose Consulting, Deborah concentrates on all aspects of new business development. Manages relationships with independent contractors and manages current client needs for strategic planning, project budgets, contractual negotiations and presentations.
Ms. Welch holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology/Chemistry from Otterbein College, Westerville, Ohio. She is a graduate of both the Sandler Sales Institute and the IBM certified sales training program. She is also a member of WITI (Women In Technology International).
